Manual J Load Calculation
​
All heating and cooling equipment shall be sized in accordance with ACCA Manual S based on the equipment loads calculated with ACCA Manual J calculation methodology. Based on actual internal and external building loads for the directional orientation of the building.
Manual D Duct Design
All duct systems serving all heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment shall be fabricated in accordance with ACCA Manual D methodologies. Duct materials and sizing shall be determined by ACCA Manual J requirements of each space, available static pressure, and total equivalent length.
​Manual S Equipment Selection
All heating and cooling equipment shall be selected based on loads calculated using ACCA Manual J methodology. Where the total capacity of the selected equipment is not less than the calculated total, but also not more than 1.15 greater than the total load.
Florida Energy Code Residential

Non-exempt residential buildings code compliance forms must be submitted to the local building official for a permit. R103.1.1.1.1-No license or registration is required to prepare compliance forms for single-family dwellings, duplexes and townhouses.

Florida Energy Code Commercial
Non-exempt commercial and multi-family buildings compliance forms must be submitted to the local building official for a permit. C103.1.1.1.2-Completing compliance for commercial and multi-family buildings shall be in accordance with Section 481.229 or Section 471.003 Florida Statutes.
